About the Victoria Bridge

The Victoria Bridge carries Route 112 across the St. Lawrence between Pointe-Saint-Charles and Saint-Lambert. Opened in 1859, it was the first bridge across the river, and it still carries rail traffic alongside the road decks. It’s a popular alternative when the Champlain Bridge or the La Fontaine tunnel is backed up.
